Between places & perspectives; shaping clarify though
experience, culture, & people.
Perspective
I was born and raised in Copenhagen, shaped by a culture of simplicity and intention. Then came three years in China while learning languages, navigating unfamiliar environments, and finding comfort in the in-between. Now, in Portland, I carry both perspectives forward.
Denmark taught me to value what’s essential.
China taught me to question it.
The U.S. is where I translate that tension into my work.
Principles
Through years of traveling, learning, and exploring, I’ve distilled my life into three principles I carry into both my personal and professional worlds; a simple framework for how I move through life.
Stay curious about the world and the people in it.
Lead with kindness, especially when it’s not expected.
Be generous—with time, attention, and ideas.
Photography
With a background in documentary photography, I continue to explore the medium through personal, ongoing projects rooted in observation and everyday moments. I’m drawn to what feels unscripted and honest—quiet fragments of life as they unfold.
On the side, I share occasional writing on my Substack [insert link], where I reflect on color profiles, the experience of cameras, and travel along the way.
Onebag
I’ve spent the past decade traveling often without a plan, guided by curiosity and a constant search for good food. Along the way, I learned that the less you carry, the more open you become and traveling light creates space to move freely and say yes to whatever comes next with just a backpack.
These days I’ve slowed down, but still travel almost exclusively this way. I occasionally share insights with bag design teams, always with the goal of helping others travel lighter and simpler.
Some of the companies I’ve worked with: [brand 1], [brand 2], and [brand 3]
